Houston-based session hairstylist, James Fojt’s began his career in Paris, honing his skills in the art of Dessange hair cutting. Fojt’s expertise is in creating real styles that enhance natural beauty. Fojt marries a truly creative approach with technical brilliance and a critical eye:

She is a Master certified Goldwell and L’Oreal Professionnel color specialist and certified in all Keratin Treatments. Shayla has been a stylist for many years and joined Bella Rinova in 2011, previously at Ceron Salon. Shayla is an exceptional colorist, trained in balayage, Goldwell and L’Oreal Professionnel color, and Keratin Treatments, to name a few. She has participated in Houston’s Fashion Week for the last 2 years and numerous runway fashion shows and editorial shoots. She has a great passion for style and cutting, especially men’s cuts!

Joining Bella Rinova in 2007, Jumana’s passion for hair has given her the opportunity to create personalized looks. With certifications in Keratin Treatments, a Master’s certification in Goldwell, Wella, and L’Oreal Professionnel color. Jumana tracks the current trends to help her create and finish each client with a fresh cut and sharp style. She continues to further her training in foil techniques, balayage, ombre, and corrective color. Elsa began her career in 1997 when she began working at the high profile Urban Retreat Salon. After 10 dedicated years, she joined salon Ceron for a brief time and then joined the Bella Rinova team in 2007. She continued to craft her talent by studying at the KMS Academy in Santa Monica, California, KMS Baltimore attending Goldwell classes, and New York City for L’Oreal Professionnel color classes.
Elsa is not only well known for her great highlights and cuts but also for her expertise in Great Lengths hair extensions and up do’s. She specializes in L’Oreal Professional hair color and is also certified in the Keratin Treatment. Elsa’s ability to blend her style, experience, and great awareness of each client’s personal needs is what makes her the perfect stylist.

Raquel Calhoun joins the Bella Rinova team after working for Beautique Day Spa for 27 years! Her entire time as a stylist is over 30 years, after spending the early years training in Paris, France. Her training in the US includes extensive years with L’Oreal as an Expert Network educator, Kerastase Ambassador, Brazilian Blowout, and Ouidad.
Her specialty is in Blondes and Color Correction! She loves learning new techniques and refining her skills every day from hairdressers all over the world. She is also knowledgeable in Goldwell color as well but her expertise is in L’Oreal. Highlighting is her passion along with making the world a more beautiful place inside and out.

Rosie has a keen eye and talent to be able to personalize a look, especially formulated for her clients, their hair texture, and lifestyle with up-to-date current modern hair trends.
Rosie specializes in precision haircutting, styling, color (especially gray coverage), highlighting blondes as well as lightening very dark hair. Her passion for hairdressing and ongoing education gives her the ability to give all of her clients their best-personalized look.
She began her career in 1987 at the early age of 17. In 1991 she joined forces with Paul Mitchell as a Paul Mitchell School Owner and Paul Mitchell International bilingual (Spanish) motivational speaker, platform artist, and educator for 26 years. Also, during her time with Paul Mitchell, she owned her own successful salon for 22 years, and due to Harvey, the business has closed. In January 2020, Rosie joined Bella Rinova Salon.
She has traveled the world educating, leading hair shows, teaching on stage to fellow hairdressers, and working alongside many industry icons all throughout the United States from New York to California and also in Spain, Mexico, and South America.

Christine is a Parisian technique trained stylist with over 13 years of experience. Specializing in customized color, balayage, ombré, and foil highlights, along with hair cutting and styling.
Extensively trained in Wella Professionals color, L’Oreal Professionals color, balayage techniques, Parisian hair cutting and styling, and certified in the Brazilian Blowout Smoothing system.
Christine helps her guests find what compliments their own personal style, and teaches them the tricks and techniques to recreate their look at home. Always eager to learn, Christine is constantly educating herself in the industry’s latest techniques and trends. She believes that learning and growing never stop.

Alex started his career over 9 years ago and recently joined Bella Rinova in 2015. Prior to that, he started his Journey at Toni & Guy, training with nationwide influential educators where he quickly gained knowledge and a reputation as not only a stylist but an Educator which eventually led him to be part of the Artistic Team. After 6 years of being with Toni&Guy, he moved to a salon in West Ave where he continued to build an exquisite clientele, working with socialites, fashion designers such as Tamara Mellon, Academy Award winner Colleen Atwood and our very own Annise Parker.
His work has been highlighted in publications such as Houstonia Magazine, PaperCity, and 002 Houston.
Alex not only specializes in haircutting, which is not limited to a style but also all different types of textures and shapes for women and men. He creates wonderful style outs whether it’s a night out or a wedding. Alex is Certified in several smoothing/Texture treatments such as Brazilian blowout and Global Keratin and Nick Arrojo American wave just to name a few. His passion for hair extends to Hair Extensions where he is not only a Babe Extensions Educator but also certified with Invisi-Tab and Great Lengths. He is a firm believer in continuing education and travels to learn new techniques and to stay up to date to make his clients look and feel good.

Aleyda comes to Bella Rinova with over 24 years of experience. She was trained under the direction of a French-trained stylist and delivers the best in precision French cutting techniques. Her color training is from New York artists who only use the best color in the US, L’Oreal Professionnel. The services she provides are single process color, highlighting, Balayage highlighting, Brazilian blowout treatments, Kerastase conditioning treatments, and precision cutting for women and men.

Mr. Gillen has been in the hair industry for 17 years. Prior to hair, he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Juilliard School in New York City, where he celebrated a 22-year career as a ballet dancer and Broadway chorus boy. Chris has been a hairstylist for 25 years in the River Oaks/Upper Kirby area. He specializes in color, highlights, and cuts.
He has owned and operated two Salons, Bellissima Salon and Spa, and most recently Salon d’ Artista.
Another specialty for Chris is the Brazilian Blowout. He attended the first academy in Los Angeles, taught by the creator, is a master certified to teach stylists to learn about the product and how to use it. He was the first stylist to bring the Brazilian Blowout to Houston. Other training includes Vidal Sassoon Cutting Academy and is Master Certified in Goldwell Color.
Chris is passionate about hairstyling and likes to take the time to get to know his clients well so he can help create a style that his clients can manage and that fits their lifestyle. When you begin using Chris as your stylists you will stay loyal for many years, as do all his regular clients!

Mari started her career 16 years ago in Chicago, shortly after she moved to Houston to work for Toni & Guy where she trained under the best of the company. She stayed with the company for 10years as a hair color specialist, Educator for the Houston area, and management. Mari Has extensive training in L’oreal color, Goldwell color, Shu Uemura, and Kerastase. Specializing in color correction and balayage, she’s a color wiz! She is also great with extensions such as Ron King and Babe and certified in Brazilian Blowouts. Mari continues to educate herself on the latest trends where she travels to New York, LA, and Dallas. Her work has been highlighted in 2014 Sophisticates Hairstyle Guide Magazine and has received multiple awards for her color techniques! At the end of the day, she enjoys transforming hair into something beautiful and unique for each individual client.

Linda’s career has taken her from coast to coast as a former Educator and Trainer for L’oreal Professionnel.
With a highly personalized and thorough consultation as well as open lines of communication throughout the artistic process, Linda designs “perfect looks” for all her clients. Mutually complementary colors and styles are essential to achieving your best look and Linda applies great passion, experience, and talent towards that end.

Kevin Batiste is a multi-talented hairstylist that welcomes all hair types to his chair. With nearly 20 years of experience, he has worked at Stardust Salon in New Orleans; also Urban Retreat Day Spa and Maison Lusiant salons in Houston. He understands that women take great pride in their appearance. Therefore, he takes great pride in his work by staying current and advancing his education.
Kevin attended the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Beverly Hills, California where he learned the art of haircutting. His approach to haircutting is; “every woman is different and every haircut should be uniquely hers.” simply stated. His approach to hair coloring is similar to that of haircutting; by creating a hue just for her, through the use of professional hair color lines such as Goldwell USA, L’Oréal Professional USA, and Alfaparf Milano and techniques like French balayage, ombre and classic foiling.

Turk is a Houston based stylist that has been improving his craft since 1999. A third generation stylist whose father, uncle and great uncle were also stylists. He has been raised in the salon atmosphere since he was a little tyke.
Turk has been certified with Great Lengths USA since 2010 and has done some miraculous transformations with the Cold Fusion method of extensions. Great Lengths is perfect to add length, volume, or color effects as highlights and lowlights without using chemical hair dyes.
Turk is also certified with Brazilian Blowout, a fully customizable smoothing treatment that improves the condition of the hair by creating a protective protein layer around the hair shaft to eliminate frizz and smooth the cuticle for up to 12 weeks!
